Based in Amsterdam, New York, Power and Composite Technologies produces custom composite structures for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and recreational uses. Since 1994, a core element of our business has been providing components for the power generation industry, including repair kits, insulated bolts and bushings, collector assemblies, and many other field and stator components. We also make baseball bats, boat masts, and golf club shafts.

PCT is not just a manufacturer--we also employ a team of talented engineers to determine the best materials, processes, and finishing procedures to meet your needs. PCT's composite structures are made from an array of fibers and matrices, such as fiberglass and carbon fiber, into any necessary shapes and with any of a range of physical properties.
Most of our customers require either fiberglass or carbon fiber used in their composite structures, but we are also adept at working with aramids like Kevlar and other fibers. Fibers can be milled, chopped, or continuous, and can be suspended in any of a number of resins, including epoxy resins, poly- and vinyl esters, and phenolic resins. Our engineering staff can help determine which fiber and resin combination will work best for you, or we can design a custom combination to meet your strict specifications.
Our engineering and manufacturing expertise can also achieve specific physical properties in custom composite structures, as well. Some of the properties that we can design for include low thermal conductivity, dielectric properties, mechanical strength and stability, corrosion resistance, and chemical resistance. We can also reverse-engineer any part you need manufactured, even if you do not have the specs.
